IIT JEE 2009 Maths paper was bit tougher than Physics and Chemistry papers. Pattern was quite similar to that of previous three years papers with a little variation. There were not any "Assertion-Reason" questions. "Integer type question" were introduced for the first time this year. There were no options to integer type questions. Answers had value from 0 to 9. Multiple correct options had negative marking. There were no negative markings for multiple correct options in the previous years. Actually IITs want that student should rely least on coaching centres. Therefore they are inclining towards school syllabus. Very less conceptual questions were asked this year; many simple questions of 12th level were asked. Only crystal clear concept is required for IIT JEE. Our Test Series and Daily Test Series proved highly fruitful for this new pattern of JEE. All the best for JEE 2010 and JEE 2011 aspirants.
